  • van vertrouwde cliënten overeenkomend met $relay_domains of subdomeinen,
  • van onbetrouwbare cliënten naar bestemmingen die overeenkomen met $relay_domains of subdomeinen, behalve adressen met een afzender specifieke route.
De standaard relay_domains waarde is $mydestination.

Bovendien tot het bovenstaande, zal de Postfix SMTP server standaard email accepteren waar Postfix het eindstation voor is:
